Christmas recap from nurse Jasper

Hello there, everybody! I just wanted to give you all a rundown of things at my house. Mom & I have both been under the weather lately... you know, me with my back muscle & mom with the flu. She started feeling bad on Christmas Eve & it just got worse from there. So we have both been on some form of "quarantine" for the past couple of weeks. I did my best to take care of her & make her feel better, & she said that "snuggle bugs from the pup" are the best kind of medicine so I snuggled as close to her as I could, but I never saw any "bugs". I was hoping I would, cause they make tasty snacks, ya know??  Anyhoo...

I have been taking very good care of my back & have been using my ramp on & off the couch (not every time, but mom says that some is better than none.) And I love all the massages mom has been giving me, they make me all ooey-gooey relaxed...

And even though mom didn't feel good, we had a great Christmas!! Santa did not disappoint, I got all kinds of snackies & toys & there is even a present left under the tree that mom says I get to open tomorrow on New Years Day! I am a master at opening presents, just in case you didn't know. :)

Christmas 2011 Roundup

Hey everybody!! I know that this is a little late but I just wanted send out a big THANK YOU to everyone who sent me a Christmas card. Final count: Jasper - 32, mom -  well... let's just say she didn't get 32. But seeing how it was the season of giving, I decided to share with her.  We had such a wonderful Christmas, that I thought I'd share some pics with you of me and my Christmas haul!!

I am excellent at unwrapping presents, so mom usually lets me have my fun and then I have to be a good boy & pose for a couple pics.

I got 3 new blankies, tons of treats, a new bathtime set, new toys, bones... everything a dog could ask for!! I even got my own stocking with MORE presents!!

There were more toys in there with some yummy bones too!!  All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas, Santa was very good to me & mom.  Oh, and mom says to tell everyone as soon as she gets the pics of my time in Nashville from my Auntie Heather (*hint, hint*) that she will post them as well.

Christmas Card Exchange, Part 3

Okay, you are not gonna believe this, but I got MORE Christmas cards!!  8 more in the mail & 6 total Christmas emails!!  Holy smokies!!  Here's my haul so far this week.

Now on to another big moment tonite.  Mom's work is having their Christmas party tomorrow so she made a lemon bundt cake to take for all her co-workers.  And... guess... what... I got to lick the beaters!!  Holy cow, were they deeeelish!!
