Mail and a trip...

So yesterday I got a get well card from my best girlfriend Hildy, it was so awesome!!  And it sure was nice of her to think of me & my poor tooth that I had to have pulled last week.  I love opening mail, especially when it smells like someone as good as Hildy!!

And lookie!!  She even signed it with a heart... *blush*

Thanks so much for the card, Hildy!!  I *heart* you too!!


Something else happened last night that got me really excited.  Mom went in to the guest room closet & pulled out her little suitcase, which always gets me worried cause I don't like it when she goes places without me for long periods of time.  She looked at me and said, "don't worry Butterbean, you're going this time, too."  Going?? Where are we going, mom??  "On Friday, we're going down to Nashville to see your Auntie Heather & Uncle Mike & Pilot & Ani."  Yippee!!  I looove spending time with them!!  Then she told me that while we are there we are gonna have a birthday party for me & Pilot cause our birthday is on the 28th.  Another yippee!!  That means cake, right mom??  "Yep, and presents too."  Oh boy, I can't wait to tell you guys all about it when I get back.  I hope you have a great weekend, I know I will!!

Where are we going??

Tonite I am going to stay with my Auntie Heather in Nashville for Christmas. Mom is going to visit her brother for the holidays & while I'm sad that we won't be together for Christmas, I am super excited to spend a WHOLE WEEK with my Auntie Heather, Uncle Mike, my cousin Ani & MY BOTHER PILOT!!  We are gonna have so much fun!!



Can't I go w/ you, mom??  I don't take up that much room.


I can't wait to tell you all about my adventures when I get back!!

First trip to the dog park!!

So this past weekend mom & I went down to Nashville to visit my Auntie Heather & my brother Pilot.  Her & my mom used to live together until she decided to move (boo) & when mom got me, Auntie Heather got my brother.  How awesome is that?!?  But then she had to go & move 3 WHOLE HOURS AWAY!!  AND she took Pilot with her!! I mean, mom coulda kept us both but nooooooooo.  Something about who was who's mommy & Auntie Heather got a new job & we would still see each other... blah, blah, blah.  All I heard was excuses.

Anyhoo... while we were there we went to the dog park. I had never been so I wasn't really sure what to do... I mean, mom & I live in an apartment so I'm not usually off of my leash outside.  Was this some kind of test??  Was I being watched for signs of dog park misconduct??  So I just kinda stuck close to mom & Auntie Heather for a while.  It was lots of fun though, we ran around a little & watched some of the other dogs play.  Every once in awhile I jumped in there & tried to play, but I had to stick close to mom so she wouldn't get lonely.  Maybe next time she'll be able to handle it by herself so I can play more... gesh. :)

All in all, it was a good visit!! I can't wait to see them again:)
