Last Saturday

Now I don't know if you know this, but last Saturday was Squirrel Appreciation Day. I told mom that I wanted to put this post up then but, well, I was so busy "appreciating" the squirrels outside my front window that I totally forgot!! 

This is the picture that mom has had for years.  It hangs on our refrigerator so we will always remember. And for those of you who missed out on appreciation day, don't worry, there's also Squirrel Awareness Week in October.

Mom had the blinds up ALL DAY so I got to appreciate the heck out of the squirrels outside!! 

If only they had gotten a little closer...
